This is a bit of a test

This is a test of Xjournal and LJ in general. I'm having a small problem in that I don't think I'm the ideal candidate for keeping a journal, but would like, on occasion, to post to the journals of friends who do have ongoing journals.

Well, that's what I'm probably going to do because a) my real life is not very interesting and b) I am over-focused to a great extent on the fiddly little bits that would probably ... not be very interesting .

I also tend to have long droughts, in which I'm off-line. This means I'm either being productive, or being a parent. Mostly, though, productive. I'm not really having fun rereading ten year old work (although as it progresses to now, it's less of a strain because I seem to have -some- functioning brain cells left ). I do like your questions and musings, though, and much of the reason I wanted to post was to answer them
