This is a bit of a test
This is a test of Xjournal and LJ in general. I'm having a small problem in that I don't think I'm the ideal candidate for keeping a journal, but would like, on occasion, to post to the journals of friends who do have ongoing journals.

Nothing wrong with a journal just for posting in other journals--I know several folks who do it.
Of course, that's what I thought I was doing when I set mine up. Shows what I know. :-)

I also tend to have long droughts, in which I'm off-line. This means I'm either being productive, or being a parent. Mostly, though, productive. I'm not really having fun rereading ten year old work (although as it progresses to now, it's less of a strain because I seem to have -some- functioning brain cells left ). I do like your questions and musings, though, and much of the reason I wanted to post was to answer them
