From the store, a quick note for matociquala and anyone who else might be interested: We have bright, shiny new copies of HAMMERED in freezing cold boxes. Well, okay, and also on the shelf <g>.
Hello. I found your blog while looking for updates on the Sun Sword series and added you to my f'list.
I'm convinced that you, George R.R. Martin, Janny Wurtz, and Kate Elliot are in cohoots to drive me to the edges of my patience by writing books I get addicted to and then leaving me hanging. Granted, the books are worth the wait, but eeks! :)
Thank you very much for writing this series. I really appreciate all the time you spent creating such a wonderful world for my imagination to escape to. Even if I will spend the next year annoying the poor, long-suffering customer service people at Borders with endless requests of, "Is there a release date yet?"
Just a quick note; I've started a community called vintagecomputer (the name about says it all) and, based upon the fact that you took the time to stick the Apple Newton on your interest list, my vast intelligence network tells me you might like it. Feel free to check it out, or not. Y'know, whichever's cool with you.
Did you go out for groceries and didn't come back?
Just wanted to say I've noticed your posts missing, and hope the reason is a good one. I've just been depressed (improving) and sick (going to see someone about it I Hope Soon) which is not a very good excuse for little writing done, but at least the taxes approach completion.
Does anyone know what's up? It's silly, since she doesn't know me and I don't really know her, but I'm getting a little worried here. And i miss her posts too. :-/
This is where you have to give fellow LJers Space. But folks who have other sources can chime in. I don't follow people to their Yahoo groups, SF-FNET groups, etc. (there lies the route to insanity) but that's where I'd check next--I believe she has a group.
I saw her the other day at the bookstore, and she is incredibly busy with her writing. I think she started writing a book and then found out it was a trilogy.
I talked with Michelle the other day and she said that between life and feeling like there wasn't much to say right now she was saying very little. But she is alive and well on Queen Str. E
