Heh. I did that at fifteen too...except I had read Elizabeth Peters. Thus I wanted my book to be good and witty and just have fun with the cliches of the romance genre.
I admit I like a really badly written, but entertaining romance. I also like entertaining and solid romances too. (I adore Diana Gabaldon and Georgette Heyer.)
Aside to Michelle: I've read one of your Hunter's books sometime ago. Unfortunately I was unable to actually put my paws on them since I first started, so I never got to finish. (It went into the vast pile of To Be Read Someday When I've Time and Money at the Same Time.)
