Forgive me for barging in but - I had an epiphany last night, and I believe you should know.
Searching for a book to take with me to work, I 'found' the Fortune Teller on one of the shelves. I am sure I bought it years ago, and then forgotten about it (books tend to breed behind my back in this house, you see... There are *always* more books than I remember buying).
Anyway - as a collection of short stories it's OK but not remarkably good (according to my own personal taste, of course), and I had briefly considered putting the book aside and looking for something else.
Glad I didn't - VERY glad.
Read The Vision of Men on the tram... Read it again once I got home, and I am now off to have a look on Amazon, because I want to read whatever else you have written...:)
