I submitted a proposal to my agent for books that are rather different from what I've been writing. I've been pondering the notion of a pseudonym. Partly because it's possible that they will ask me for one and I want to think about whether I think it's a good idea or not. I have thought about the things you've mentioned, particularly with issues of personal interaction, keeping websites and blogs, and all that sort of thing. I think I'd have to hear a really strong argument FOR it. My numbers are good--at least sell-through is in the upper 70 and mid 80 percent for the three books I have numbers on so far. But like I said, this is a much different set of books and they may want separate them. We'll see. At this point, that's putting the cart waaaaaaaaaay in front of the horse. First someone has to want to buy them.
