A lot like Pratchett in that regard
What I've noticed about Terry Pratchett in his public speaking is that he so incredibly gracious. He's funny as all get out, yes, but he -- very much like Scalzi, now that you've mentioned it -- speaks from the floor, even when he's not on it.
