My son is more ADHD and borderline Aspergers, but he does have a bit of the need for touch. He'd stroke the back of my arm, for instance, when he was little and even now, at 13, he will occasionally just crawl in my lap in the mornings. I have noticed that he is just calmer on days where he got that Mommy time.
