Actually, I always thought this was true ... but when I return to read things I adored as a younger person, I choke on them now <wry g>. So some part of it is time & experience, and I think some part of it is my growing awareness of technical issues.
And you know, that growing awareness only deprives me of things to enjoy, so I'm not entirely fond of it...
