How prevalent is this problem? Just curious. (Yes, I know, I ought to go to a con once in a while.)
I've been experimenting with republishing my out of print short stories, so I've been using the other six hours of the day doing that, and I've been posting it on the writer blog because it's more specifically about my writing.
How prevalent? It's a growing concern. It depends to a large, large extent on the people in charge of programming, because at some conventions this is almost never a problem, and at others ... it's bigger.
