This, oddly enough, isn't the discussion that spawned my whole set of ramblings indirectly, but it's the first discussion about Vanity Presses that I hit on LJ. Someone was kind enough to speak up in defense of Vanity Presses, with inaccurate facts behind him or her... so it's a longish thread.
