Try the 20-teens. Oh, it's never been that blatant, but....

I've called out two principals (male) who were openly sexist and demonstrated a pattern of discrimination toward older women. As I settle into middle age (in my 50s) I see a lot more of that sort of discrimination going on.

My particular bugaboo at the moment is age discrimination. I've experienced it as I've tried to get away from those two and find a different position. Very encouraging initial contacts, and then I show up at the job interview, and....well, it's obvious to see the doubletake when they set eyes on me.

(Funny thing is, I don't look that old. I'm in good physical condition, skinny, look ten years younger...but I'm also clearly no spring chicken, either)
