LJ question

andpuff or haniaw, can you tell me what the name of the LJ theme you're using is? I like the one I'm using as far as it goes, but I can't figure out how to get it to keep more than 10 friends entries on a page at a time, and it's driving me nuts. Granted, it's not a great distance to that destination, but still. Yours seems to keep 20. I keep losing people off the bottom of my list by the time I get to check it :/.

I want something clean that will compress the most text, and your themes seem to be it. So. (I'm using S2, if that's of any help).

Actually, your LJ style allows you to set the number of entries. :)

Manage > Customize > Edit Customizations. Then click on Presentation tab, and the first two options allow you to change the number of entries on your LJ, and then your flist.

Not one of the people you asked, but to change the number of entries that show up on friends view for your theme:

1. Go to Manage
2. Choose Customize
3. Click "Edit Customizations"
4. Click on "Presentation"
5. Go to the option that says "Number of journal entries to show on friends page"
6. Check the box that says "Override default"
7. Enter "20" in the now-editable field (or whatever number)

I think the theme of those 2 journals is Refried Paper, which is S1, IIRC.

I tried the over-ride last time, but couldn't change the number -- I didn't realize that you had to save the setting, and -then- go back, and change the <insert harsh word of your choice> thing, and -then- save the settings again.

Thanks for the information -- I was pretty sure I had tried every possible S2 theme, and hadn't come up with that one. Not that I actually know the difference between the two, other than the names <wry g>.

The main difference I've noticed with the S1 and S2 systems is based upon how you edit the customizations. I know to do a purely custom-made layout (ie a regular blog one), it's easier to do it in the S1-based system. But I'm lazy. *coughs*
