I don't think I know any 'zine editors. ^_^ I do remember a rather better-"established" writer observing once that I seemed not to be around sf/f-land because as far as he knew I was doing other things and not going to cons and stuff. (I only heard this after the fact, but yeah, I was finishing college and had no car and still can't drive.)
On the other hand, there is LJ! I can listen to these conversations! I can fantasize about going to Worldcon! *grin* And I now know that kaffeeklatsching is not a kind of dance, which is, of course, the most important thing. ;-) (I also used to think casseroles were a kind of egg roll. Don't hurt me!)
