I love libraries as well. I spent most of my junior high english class in the library because I was caught up on everything so far in advance that it was a great way to make sure I was quiet during class <wry g>.
The basic economic issue is worth noting; I could read far, far more than I could afford when I was in school before I got a part-time job. Most of the money I did earn went to books, though <g>.
