At a tangent--how guilty should I feel about buying used/bargain/remainder books? :-]
When I was a broke student, I mostly bought used and remaindered books. Now that I have a better income, I have a stack of signed hardcovers on my to-be-read pile.
Even when I was a broke student, I don't think I bought more than one or two used books by any author. Any author that I liked, I would cherish their books and shell out for the paperbacks as they came out. :)
