Date: 2009-07-28 09:48 pm (UTC)1. Never judge the importance of an author by the number of their publications. I loved your books, I think they were fabulous, and I cannot wait to read the new one when it comes out.
2. It's a Worldcon, it has hundreds and hundreds of authors, and everyone wants to Do Stuff. I don't think of it as 'knocking' me out so much as juggling a schedule; they schedule people they think attendees will want to see more of for as much as they possibly can, and they're going to have internal priorities that just aren't clear to those of us who aren't working for free to put this all together.
3. Not being sure if anyone will show up for a kaffeeklatch is a time honored tradition, and I am always afraid of this very thing *wry g*. It is normal :).
4. I am having a very list-loving day ...
