Quick Update

I've been absent. My internet service provider is trying to give me an ulcer. My email has been done via an ancient dial-up, and I'm behind, oh, about a week, which in LJ terms is almost forever.

They're replacing wires and other junk now, and at the moment, we're up. So I'm sneaking in to tell you all that I'm working on the round-up of the post-contract stuff now, and I hope to post it here in the next little while <crossing fingers>.

In other news: HOUSE WAR will be 2 books (everyone who reads me, try to look surprised), and the second Luna novel is being fun. Fun is good.

Fortunately I'm online, where I'm better at keeping a straight face and being convincing.

(I actually did have a short story surprise me and want to be a novel, for the first time in my life, just a few weeks ago. A 100-page novel, but still--it's interesting, this business of discovering the scope of what you're writing is larger than you thought.)

two...wait, no make that three.... :) I'm currently rereading Sun Sword and getting antsier and antsier (is that even a word??) for House War and Black Gauntlet. If I could just find Hunter's Oath it would give me an additional book to read while I wait. /fangirl squee

That's all I remember off the top of my head. I'm sure I'm forgetting two or three. A lot of these intertwine pretty significantly. I'll believe it's done when I see it on the shelf.

Not that I'm compaining, mind. The story is just that big.
